On 27th and 28th February 2014, a national coalition was launched in Kinshasa at an event co-hosted by the Anglican Archbishop Rev. Henri Isingoma, UNAIDS DRC Country Office and Coalition member, Tearfund.
The workshop included group sessions which faith leaders and organisations worked together on activity plans to achieve 4 key outcomes:
1. Engaging faith leaders to speak out and act
2. Equipping faith communities to be safe spaces
3. Engaging with survivors especially regarding speaking into policies and practices
4. Engaging men and boys in the prevention of sexual violence

On the 25th November 2013, the Anglican Archbishop of Southern Africa and UNAIDS co-hosted a national launch of ‘We Will Speak Out – South Africa’.
Panellists from the the Anglican Church, HOPE Africa, National Prosecuting Authority, Tearfund, SAFFI, Sonke Gender Justice, UNAIDS and UNWomen spoke during the event (in alphabetical order)
The Anglican Archbishop of Cape Town and Metropolitan of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa, the Most Revd Thabo Makgoba lead the attendees in prayers for those affected by sexual violence and the local church to respond and prevent sexual violence.
A meeting is planned in November 2011 in Monrovia co-hosted by the United Liberia Inland Church (ULIC) in collaboration with UNAIDS and Tearfund.

In August 2011, The Most Rev. Onesphore Rwaje, the Archbishop of Rwanda and The Most Rev. Bernard Ntahoturi co-hosted an in country meeting in collaboration with UNAIDS and Tearfund.
